CULLODEN, Ga. — Family, friends, and members of the Culloden community are mourning the passing of Arthur Scott McCook, affectionately known to many as “Scotty,” who died peacefully at his home on March 19, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on May 21, 1951, Scott spent much of his life in Georgia, where he built a reputation as a hardworking professional, devoted family man, and talented musician. Throughout his career, he worked as an industrial account representative for nearly three decades before retiring due to health concerns.
Outside of his professional life, Scott found joy in music. Whether performing for local audiences or sharing songs with family and friends, he remained committed to his passion for singing and playing music, leaving lasting memories for those who had the opportunity to hear him perform.
Those who knew Scott remember him for his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to the people closest to him. His legacy is reflected not only in his professional accomplishments but also in the friendships he cultivated and the love he shared with his family throughout his life.
