Her passing marks the loss of a devoted mother, cherished family member, loyal friend, and compassionate community member whose warmth and generosity touched countless lives throughout northern New Jersey.

Born on January 9, 1959, in Orange, New Jersey, Susan spent much of her life in Livingston and Parsippany, where she became known for her kind heart, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kevin O’Brien, with whom she shared many years of marriage before his passing in 2016.

Above all else, Susan treasured her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her daughter, Ashley O’Brien, and remained deeply connected to her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
