Emergency crews responded to a fire at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, after multiple vehicles caught fire inside one of the resort’s parking structures, prompting a rapid response from firefighters and temporary disruptions for arriving and departing guests.
According to fire officials, the incident began when a vehicle caught fire inside the Pixar Pals parking structure. The flames quickly spread to nearby parked vehicles before Anaheim Fire & Rescue personnel arrived and brought the blaze under control. Authorities reported that approximately a dozen vehicles sustained damage during the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The fire prompted an emergency response from firefighters, law enforcement officers, and Disneyland security personnel. While crews worked to extinguish the blaze and secure the area, guests experienced traffic delays entering and exiting the parking facility. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading further through the structure, allowing normal operations to gradually resume after the incident was contained.
Officials believe the fire originated in the engine compartment of a parked vehicle, though the exact cause remains under investigation. Authorities have not indicated that the incident was suspicious, and investigators continue to examine the circumstances that led to the fire.
Disneyland Resort remained open throughout the incident, with no reports of evacuations from the theme parks themselves. Guests were advised to follow directions from resort staff and emergency personnel while access to the affected parking area was temporarily restricted.
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of rapid emergency response in high-traffic public venues. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, and any additional findings from the investigation are expected to be released as they become available.
